Summary:

At kick off this was a 1st v 3rd place battle with Halifax. It had been a tight game, particularly in the second half but a Jason Robinson try would settle it Wigan's way. Unfortunately after scoring the game winning try, Robinson suffered a dislocated elbow which ruled him out of the rest of the Great Britain v New Zealand test series.
