Summary:l

Wigan hadn't lost since 29th October against Castleford but that run came to an end on this Sunday at Hull. It had been a great start, Andy Gregory over inside two minutes, but tries from Andy Dannatt and Paul Eastwood got Hull into a 14-6 lead. A penalty and a try from Mark Preston reduced that to 14-12 at half time. Hull found back to back tries again early second half with Marquis Charles and Richard Gay scoring for 24-12 to Hull. Tries from Kevin Iro and David Marshall brought that lead down to 24-20 but missed goals kept Wigan behind. Hull sealed the win three minutes from time with Phil Windley's try. Wigan's six point lead from the previous Tuesday had now been cut down to just two points with Leeds having beaten Leigh on the Wednesday and then Bradford on this Sunday.
