A strange Good Friday for Wigan fans because
they were not playing St Helens! The BBC's decision to televise the cup semi
final between St Helens and Widnes on Easter Saturday saw the usual
scheduled derby, due to take place at Central Park, Postponed. With four
fixtures to re-arrange before April 13th, Wigan took the opportunity to fit
in this fixture against Featherstone on Good Friday Evening. It was a tough
battle this for Wigan but they got the job done and news elsewhere of
Castleford slipping up against Bradford made it an even better night.

Match had previously been postponed on
Sunday 17th February (3:30pm) due to Featherstone needing to re-arrange a
Challenge Cup Tie for that day.
