Joe Lydon looked to have kicked Wigan to 6-2 but referee John Kendrew over-ruled both touch judges who put their flags up. Woods later equalised at 4-4 but Ellery Hanley's try in the 74th Minute, after a break from Andy Goodway, ensured the win for Wigan.
