Summary: 

Wigan had to dig deep to win this one. Having fought back from 5-0 down to lead 6-5 after 56 Minutes, Gary Pearce scored to put Hull 11-6 up with 13 minutes to go. But four minutes later Ellery Hanley finished off one of many Shaun Edwards breaks on the day and Henderson Gill's conversion put Wigan 12-11 up. They were left sweating all the way to the end with Hull's winger Dane O'Hara being tackled inches from the line in the final minute.
