Summary:l

Wigan's revival up the table continued against a Leeds side that were 3rd in the league. A superb try from Steve Ela opened the scoring in the 6th Minute but it was just an 8-6 half time lead to Wigan with Brendan Hill scoring for Leeds in the 25th Minute. The game remained tight all the way until the 72nd Minute when Mike Ford scored and further tries from David Stephenson and Colin Whitfield followed in the final few minutes to leave a flattering end result for Wigan.
