Summary: 

Wigan had been embarrassed on Boxing Day in a 53-11 humbling loss to St Helens, so they gained a little bit of revenge here. Wigan got off to a fast start with two tries in the first six minutes but found themselves 9-6 and 14-11 down either side of half time. St Helens then lost Frank Myler to injury and Wigan pushed on top claim the victory.
