Risman 1


Wigan took the lead after good work from Tony Stephens had set up the territory for Frankie Parr to send Billy Boston over through tackle attempts by Risman and Wriglesworth. In the second half the lead was reduced to 3-2 with a penalty for Leeds from Risman but two later penalties by Eric Ashton proved to be enough to seal a return to Wembley for the cup holders from Central Park.
