Wigan had played a tough cup tie at Wakefield on the
Saturday and then against Hull KR on the Monday, so this trip to Barrow on
the Thursday was a tough ask. Perhaps Wigan would take the draw in the end.
Barrow led 5-0 at half time after an unconverted try from Fenton was scored
in the 15th Minute and then later a penalty goal from Fallon. Wigan levelled
up with Norman Cherrington's try converted by Fred Griffiths, but he later
missed a penalty goal shot to win the match!
