Last Wednesday a loyal Wigan supporter was badly injured following a
fall from a great height whilst on holiday in Gran Canaria. Mark Gibson is
one of the many that follows Wigan home & away every week and for a few days
he was in a coma with severe brain injuries. Thankfully his situation has
improved but the road to full recovery is going to be a long haul......so to
help aid his recovery, help pay for medical treatment and keep his parents out in Spain for as long as is
needed there are a couple of fundraising events that we'd like to get Wigan
fans involved in.

A hard fought away win keeps Wigan two points behind leaders St Helens at the top of the Academy Championship as they now enter a three week break before their next clash.
