The Warriors kept themselves
snapping at the heels of top-of-the-table St Helens with this comfortable
victory over lowly Wildcats.

Warriors opened the scoring after just eight minutes with a try by
Denis Betts, who followed up a kick through on the last tackle.
They went further ahead with tries from Lee Gilmour in the 11th and
17th minutes and with Farrell adding all three goals they had scored at
the rate of a point a minute in the first quarter.
Jason Robinson was the next to score with a try under the posts giving
his skipper another easy goal.
On the half-hour Mick Cassidy went over for their fifth try, although
it was too far out for Farrell to add the goal and he was also off target
when Betts went over for his second try just before half time.
After the break Warriors resumed where they left off with a try under
the posts by Mark Smith, then Kris Radlinski joined the try scorers.
